Transcripts
TicketByte auto-generates a styled HTML transcript when a ticket closes. The file is posted to your transcript channel.
Enabling transcripts
Dashboard → General → Save Transcripts, then set a channel in Dashboard → Channels → Transcript Channel, or:
/ticketlog transcript #transcripts
What's in the transcript
- Ticket number, type, server, opener, open/close timestamps, duration, close reason, priority, tags
- Every message with author, timestamp, and attachment links
- Staff notes (from
/note) highlighted in yellow - Fully self-contained HTML — works offline, no external resources
Only new messages
Only messages sent after the ticket is created are logged.
Transcript log embed
Each transcript is posted to your transcript channel as an embed showing: ticket number, type, opener tag, who closed it, message count, and duration.
