Auto-Close

Auto-close automatically closes inactive tickets after a configurable period of inactivity.

Enabling

Dashboard → General → Auto-Close Inactive toggle, then set the threshold (1–30 days) in Auto-Close After (Days).

Or via command:

/config auto-close on

How it works

A background process checks all open tickets periodically. Any ticket where the time since the last message (or creation time if no messages) exceeds the configured days is automatically closed with reason Auto-closed due to inactivity.

DM notification

If DM on Close is also enabled, the ticket opener receives a DM with the close summary including the auto-close reason.
